Prof. Yonah Alexander, PhD, is the director of the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies' International Center for Terrorism Studies. He is also the author of the new book, Terrorists in Our Midst (Praeger, 2010). In the immediate aftermath of a failed car bombing attempt in New York's Times Square, Prof. Alexander offered analysis on WTOP radio. Prof. Alexander says even though the makeshift bomb appeared amateurish, it's too soon to draw any conclusions about whether an organized group or lone attacker was behind the plot.
